Exercise Tiger Association Honors Swoboda Among Adopted Warriors

An honor that was awarded to 16 service members across the nation, Courtney Swoboda, director of Military and Veteran Services at the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½, was recently recognized as an Adopted Warrior by the Exercise Tiger Association (ETA), a national non-profit commemorative foundation. She and others who received this distinction were publicly honored the weekend of Nov. 12-13 during Military Appreciation festivities that occurred on the University of Missouri – Columbia campus.

ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Collaborates with Alumnus to Get "Big Bang" Out of Giving Tuesday

Having been cast in film and television roles that include two hit CBS sitcoms, actor Brian Thomas Smith has a profound appreciation for the role his ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ education played in his journey. As ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ engages in Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30, Smith will partner with his alma mater by hosting a student-led Zoom conversation the following day with individuals who support this annual fundraising event through their financial gifts.

ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½'s Criminal Justice Students Celebrate 20-year Regional Winning Streak

For the 20th consecutive year, the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½'s gamma Epsilon Delta chapter of the Lambda Alpha Epsilon American Criminal Justice Association (LAE-AMCA) has claimed the Sweepstakes Trophy in the Regional III competition. This is unprecedented in the history of the association. ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ will not go on to compete for its 19th consecutive national title.
