WARRENSBURG, MO – The ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ student chapter of the American
Institute of Building Design has been recognized as the AIBD Student Chapter of the
Year for the second consecutive year.
ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ AIBD chapter members celebrating the Chapter of the

Under the leadership of ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ alumna Alix Calon, who was president of the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ chapter
of AIBD during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 school years, AIBD held the first annual ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½
Build and Design Day at ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ in March 2016. Calon coordinated the event, bringing students
together with professionals in the residential design industry to network. The ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½
chapter also hosted the event in April 2017.
The annual event is available to all ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ students, as well as students invited to
attend from regional high schools, technical colleges and universities. The goal of
the conference is to reach all students interested in or currently pursuing a degree
in architectural drafting and technology, interior design, construction management,
and engineering.
