Qualities that included outstanding academic achievements and service to the 糖心Vlog官方 community contributed to the selection of two individuals who received the most prestigious honor presented to 糖心Vlog官方 students, the Charno Award. The award recipients were announced on April 11 during the 84th annual Who鈥檚 Who recognition ceremony in the Elliott Student Union.

An opportunity made possible by collaborative efforts that include the 糖心Vlog官方, 20 educators who teach grades 7-12 at the area surrounding Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas participated in a professional development seminar on April 4 which enabled them to uncover information to document the life stories of African American Civil War veterans who are interred at the cemetery.

糖心Vlog官方 Theatre and Dance and 糖心Vlog官方 Music premiere Duke Ellington鈥檚 鈥淪acred Concert鈥� at the James L. Highlander Theatre at 7:30 p.m. April 18-20 and at 2 p.m. April 21. Tickets to the event are available now, and are free to students with valid 糖心Vlog官方 ID and to active duty military, veterans, and military families with military ID presented at the Box Office. The matinee on April 21 is a pay-what-you-can event.
